End User License Agreement for TruWoW

All users entering the domain of TruWoW, TruWoW Online, tru-wow.com and truwowonline.com are subject to the rules listed below, whether this agreement is read and acknowledged or not. Every effort is made by the staff of TruWoW to show you these rules, but, whether read or not, all users of TruWoW domains are subject to them. Ignorance is not an excuse.

1) What to expect from the server
TruWoW is a community dedicated to producing the closest experience to a Blizzard retail server as possible. This means all rates are one times the Blizzard rates (Blizzlike). We strive to continue to provide this experience for the community to the best of our abilities. HOWEVER, bugs do occur. As a user, you understand and agree that bugs will be dealt with per server rules, and that some of these rules may be unfavorable to the user. This is done to prevent abuse and ruining the blizzlike atmosphere we try to produce.
The staff of TruWoW consists of developers who work on the database and scripts to repair problems, as well as admins to run the server and implement fixes from the developers. We ask you to report the problems you may encounter to a Game Master (GM), AS WELL AS report it on the TruWoW Bug tracker on our forums. In addition, this server DOES NOT give out items, gold, levels, nor teleports. Accepting such a gift from a staffmember will incur punishment to both the staffmember and the user who accepted the offer. This can go as far as gold wipe, item wipe, character delevel to 1 or even bans. We are serious about this.

2) Respect for the Server
The TruWoW server is the shared gaming home for the many members of the TruWoW community. This is their house. As a member of this community, please treat it with respect. Respect the rules of the server as put down by Administrators. DO NOT HACK, CHEAT, EXPLOIT OR OTHERWISE ATTEMPT TO HARM THE SERVER. Doing so will result in an immediate IP Address, Account and Character ban. Also, do not attempt to take advantage of the community's domain to advertise or otherwise further the causes of your very own WoW Server. Doing so will be greeted with an IP address ban.

3) Respect for the Staff
The TruWoW Staff works for no real world gains and little ingame rewards. They were also appointed by the Administrators as we trust them to do their jobs and do them well, so please give them your trust when they try to help you. Respect and obey the decisions of the staff as they work for the community's best intentions. Most importantly: A STAFFMEMBER WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR PASSWORD. IF THEY DO, REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY, AS THEY ARE NOT LIKELY PART OF THE TRUWOW STAFF. If you have an issue with a staff member, please report it to an admin via email

4) Respect for other players
Respect the other players of the server. Please keep profanity and insults to a minimum. If things get out of hand, as deemed by any staffmember, actions can be taken to stop it. Please do to them as you would like done to you. Having said this, the job of a staffmember is *NOT* to censor or steer a conversation. We will not be that chat police , barring extenuating circumstances.

5) This agreement can be ammended at any time
TruWoW reserves the right to ammend this agreement at any time to change with the shifting circumstances and needs of the server and the community. These changes are agreed upon once a user enters the domains of TruWoW after said changes have been made.
