1. ) Firstly, you need to have a copy of World of Warcraft and/or World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade. Your copy of WoW must be at patch 2.4.3. WotLK is not supported at this time.

2. ) You need to create an account here Make sure you select either "Classic" or "Expansion" gametype depending on what you have installed.

* Classic = The Original World of Warcraft, without the Burning Crusade expansion
* Expansion = World of Warcraft with the Burning Crusade expansion

3. ) Go to your WoW Folder and edit your realmlist.wtf file, it should be located at:
Windows - (C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/)
Macintosh - (/World of Warcraft/ )
If not, you have chosen a different location for your WoW installation, and you must locate it yourself.

Once you have found the realmlist.wtf file, open it, with a text editor, and copy and paste the following code over the realmlist.wtf contents: 'set realmlist truwowonline.com'

4.) Once you have saved the file, follow the instructions below to lock further updates to the file:

Windows:
Right click on realmlist.wtf, select Properties. At the bottom there is a label that says Attributes, with a Checkbox that says Read Only, check that, to dis-allow further changes to the realmlist.wtf, then click Apply, and OK.

Macintosh:
right click on the file, then "get info". At the bottom it will say "sharing and permissions". Change this to "read only"

5. ) Now all you need to do is open WoW.exe (NOT Launcher.exe) and login with the username and password you used to set up your account earlier.
